World Day of Prayer for Peace

The first ‘World Day of Prayer for Peace‘ on 27th October 1986 in Assisi, Italy, organised by Pope John Paul II, brought together leaders of the world 12 major religions for the first time in history to pray for Peace on Earth, culminated in 12 Peace Prayers (from each religion).

James Twyman (Biography), also known as ‘The Peace Troubadour’, in 1994 put Peace Prayers from the 12 major religions to music and began traveling the world performing concerts to groups of thousands to spread his message of peace, and are listed below:
