    • An Inspirational Evening – A short film by George Thompson “The Subtle Art of Losing Yourself” a journey towards peace and an introduction to Taoism. Full Details below.
  • Thursday 21st August
    • Cheltenham Peace & Friendship Day progress meeting – 2pm to 3:30pm, at Cheltenham Borough Council Municipal Offices on the Promenade – if you have any ideas on what YOU you would like to see organised and help organise then please come along or let a committee member know.  It’s not too late to get involved.
  • Monday 1st September
    • Inspirational Evening –  Peace & Friendship, and Acts of Kindness, what do these mean to you? – an evening of insightful discussion and reflection – 7pm to 9pm at the Quaker Meeting House.
  • Thursday 4th September
    • Tai Chi Peace Walk – 9am to 10am – Pittville Lawn by the Pumps Rooms – ongoing on the first Thursday of every month – led by our very own Karen Soo, Tai Chi & Qi Gong Practitioner & Teacher Shibashi Qigong
  • Wednesday 17th September
    • Ceremony for World Peace – three ceremonies and an exhibition will be held throughout the day – 11am, 2:30pm and 6;30pm – each lasting 45 to 60 minutes – at Cheltenham Borough Council Municipal Offices on the Promenade.
  • Sunday 21st September
    • Cheltenham Peace & Friendship Day – details to follow but will include a peace & friendship walk, a vigil and a ceremony for peace & friendship throughout the world.
  • Thursday 4th September
    • A message from Martin Davis from St Gregory’s RC Church: “As you may know, the ‘Season of Creation’ is celebrated by all faiths between 1st September and 4th October, and the theme this year is, very happily, ‘Peace with Creation’. See Season of Creation. There will be a Creation Walk from St Thomas More’s car park (GL51 7RA) starting at 6pm on Thursday 4th September – all welcome! – with bring and share supper afterwards.
