  • Thurs 3rd Sept – 9 to 10am – Tai Chi Peace Walk with Karen Soo in Pittville Park, on the lawns below the Pump Rooms, Cheltenham, GL52 3JE
  • Mon 7th Sept – 7 to 9pm – An Evening with Beth Forrester introducing Sufism – Friends Meeting House, Warwick Place, Cheltenham, GL52 2NP
  • Mon 14th Sept – 2 to 4pm – Poetry for Peace workshop with Caroline Sherwood – Friends Meeting House, Warwick Place, Cheltenham, GL52 2NP
  • Mon 14th Sept – 7:30 to 9pm – Network Cheltenham –a town wide ecumenical event – Bethesda Methodist Church, 18 Great Norwood Street, Cheltenham, GL50 2AP
  • Thurs 17th SeptStations of Creation Walk with Martin Davis – meet at the Old Priory, 70 Clarence Street, Cheltenham, GL50 3LE , next to St Gregory’s Church
  • Sat 19th Sept – 9 to 10am – Cheltenham Park Run for Peace – Pittville Park – located adjacent the Leisure Centre in Toomy Taylors Lane, Cheltenham, GL50 4RN
  • Mon 21st Sept – 7 to 9pm Peace Vigil with Bring & Share Supper – Quaker Meeting House – Friends Meeting House, Warwick Place, Cheltenham, GL52 2NP

And to close the month we have:

  • Sun 27th Sept – Peace Walks from locations across town starting at 2pm converging on The War Memorial on the Promenade for a Vigil at 4pm

Walking routes

There are 6 to choose from:

Town Centre route from St. Gregory’s Church

St Christophers in Warden Hill

The Church of Jesus Christ and Latter-Day Saints

St Aidan’s and St Silas in Hesters WaySt Mary’s in Prestbury

Charlton Kings Baptist Church

Walk Leaders are needed for St. Marys and St Aidan & St Silas routes
